Annual Donation Drive

Mason Nation Donation Challenge!

We know this year has been challenging for individuals and families both in the Mason community and the local communities in which we operate.  Let’s show our giving force by participating in the Mason Nation Donation Challenge!

We encourage all University Faculty and Staff to select one of the charities below to make a virtual donation. We then ask that you send your electronic donation receipt to sdolan5@gmu.edu. By sending the donation receipt we can enter you into the Holidays at Home prize raffle as well as gather our community contribution totals as we await confirmation on a corporate cash match gift to support our Student Emergency Fund! There is no minimum donation requirement, every dollar counts!

In addition, Parking and Transportation is offering a citation credit in exchange for charitable contributions made to these organizations. Find out more details by visiting their holiday donation page.

Where to Donate:

Patriot Pantry contributions can be made using their Amazon Wishlist. If you are interested in supporting the Patriot Pantry with a financial contribution, you can donate to the Student Food and Housing Insecurity Fund

Student Emergency Fund donations to support students facing unexpected financial hardships, allowing them to stay in school.

Bridges to Independence maintains a list of urgently needed items and ways to give. Located in Arlington, they lead individuals and families out of homelessness and into stable, independent futures.

Inova Children’s Hospital, located in Fairfax, has set up a list of needed items, an Amazon Wish List, and Gift Policies to help you avoid purchasing any items that they cannot accept.

Prince William County Animal Shelter has a list of needed items and an Amazon Wish List.

Northern Virginia Family Services, formerly SERVE, has a list of regularly needed items or you can support them virtually with volunteer opportunities and Covid-19 related needs.
